For business, I have been living in different countries such as Portugal, Italy, UK, and South Korea. I have been interacting and doing business with companies in Europe – Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, UK, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Bulgaria, Asia – South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan
I have been working for worldwide companies such as Ericsson, Philips, Northrop Grumman, mainly involved with the front office, directly dealing with customers on activities of Business Development, Key Accounts, Resellers management and Product development
Since the first degree I have been involved with high tech companies such as Ericsson, Polymervision (spin out of Philips Netherlands), Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine, and with research centres such as Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear, Photonics and Quantum group at University of Bristol. Developing software for microwave applications, optoelectronics devices, cutting edge rollable displays, and marine products such as Radars, ECDIS, conventional and Fiber Optics Gyroscopes (FOG)
I also own Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, PhD in optoelectronics from University of Bristol and Executive MBA from the Imperial College Business School London
